New Super Mario Bros. for the DS lets you play an updated version of the classic Super Mario Bros. world, with all-new moves taken from other hit Mario games. When Mario and Princess Peach are taking a walk, a bolt of lightning hits Mushroom Castle. Mario goes off to investigate, but he returns Bowser has kidnapped Peach! He'll track down Bowser on the classic, original Super Mario Bros. map with all the moves he's picked up in the other games. Throw turtle shells, butt-stomp to crack open floors -- you can even use the tanooki suit from Super Mario Bros. 3. Use the DS dual screen to see where you are on a map & play fun minigames. Comment: This was a gift to a grandson who is five. All I know is I didn't see much of him the rest of Christmas day. Even he and his mother sat for an hour playing the game. It's all way over my head, and I would have rather seen them outside making a snow man, but I'm just the grandma.

Anyways my bro and I love playing multiplayer I'm always mario and he's lugi we always crack our heads up when one of us gets a big mushroom and we tear down the lvl we are playing on.
Though like all super mario games you can get frustrated like you can't make that jump.
But no matter what you won't stop till you make it (sometimes you might cuss at mario...we all do once in a while). Then once you finally make maybe a koopa comes by and kills you...AND THEN YOU HAVE TO TRY TO MAKE THAT JUMP ALL OVER AGAIN!

Comment: If you love Mario, you'll love this game. Like the original Super Mario except modernized. You can grow huge and destroy almost anything or shrink down tiny and can fit in super small tunnels. I was playing it at work one night and two of my coworkers totally took it over, we all loved it :).
