Summary: Terrific Sequel to the first
Comment: If you liked Gears, you'll love Gears 2. The story is better than the first. The game overall is on a much larger scale, where you actually feel like your in a war, not just little skirmishes like Gears 1. The gameplay is almost exactly the same, with new weapons...to be honest I had a difficult time dropping my old favs to try out the new ones...but the new weapons are welcome additions.
The fact that now you can carry big weapons (like Halo 3) breaks up the combat with some really fun tid-bits.
Cons: I did have a few bugs with the game. I got stuck a few times in co-op. You still move really slow when you're on the com, which is frustrating, but that's about it for me.
This game is a must-have for any Gears of War fan.

Comment: For the price this game sells at, it is not worth your money. You will like the graphics but the story line is not that great. I like Gears 1 better.

Comment: Not a bad game for a non-fps. Gets a little silly when trying to destroy worm attacking gunboat and shooting down reapers when attempting to flee on another reaper. Anything that gets shot over 500 times should eventually DIE or flee but they keep attacking.

Comment: whoever gave this game one star shouldnt be allowed to own or play either Gears of War games forever, people always have a way of ruining the fun for others for some stupid little thing that they didnt like that happened to them in the game. "oh, it was too hard," or "everyone only uses the chainsaw in multiplayer," all i have to say is suck it up, its part of the game, the lancer and other new weapons are there to challenge your skill, if u sold it or got rid of the game, good, at least no one will have to listen to u online whinning the whole match. dont rent, buy the game it is well worth every penny.
